Don't Forget Next week is our Give 24 Event:

2017-FB-Cover-Youth-Development.jpg

Sonshine’s #1 Reason to Give:  Improve and expand the outdoor play area for Sonshine students!  This will improve physical education class time and recesses!!
In just over a week, Sonshine Christian Elementary will participate in Give More 24!  We are so excited to participate in this 24-hour online giving marathon spearheaded by the Community Foundation of Southwest Foundation.  Thanks to this community event we have the opportunity to raise funds to improve and expand the outside play area for Sonshine students.
Each gift given on September 21 will be multiplied thanks to the generosity of matching dollars and the opportunity to win random cash prizes throughout the day!!  Sonshine thanks the law firm of Busick Hamrick for their $500 donation and Gholia Bros. Trucking, LLC for their $250 donation to sponsor our matching gifts.  This means, so far, we have dollar for dollar matching funds for the first $750 donated!!  A gift of $25 is worth $50 during Give More 24!
To make a gift on September 21, all you have to do is visit https://give-more-24.org/designee/sonshine-christian-elementary-school and make an online gift.  Or, please feel free to stop by the school from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to make your gift online. Don’t forget to support your favorite student by writing the name of their class teacher or class year in the notes section of the donation form – each class will be working hard to earn a cupcake party!!
In the meantime, be sure to like and follow Sonshine’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/sonshineschool.  Please also share our links to rally the support of your friends and family on September 21!  Thank you!!
